Recorded Fear: delete your account or personal data
Public deletion requests · No sign-in required
An email app is needed for these links. You can also send your request directly to sbikiosk705@gmail.com.
Request deletion without signing in
This page is for the Recorded Fear camera ghost-hunting game, published by Recorded Fear. You can request deletion by email without opening the app or signing in.
Choose one of the email links above, or email sbikiosk705@gmail.com directly. For account deletion, use the subject ‘Recorded Fear — Delete my account and personal data’. For data-only deletion, use ‘Recorded Fear — Delete my personal data only’ and say which data you want removed.
For an account request, send from the email address associated with the account where possible. If you cannot access that address, explain this in your request. We may need to verify ownership before removing account-linked data. Never send your password, sign-in codes or identity documents with your initial request.
Requests are handled manually; sending an email does not automatically delete anything. No fixed response or completion deadline has been verified. Ask for confirmation of completion and details of any data that cannot be removed.
Delete personal data without deleting your account
You may request deletion of saved game progress while keeping your Recorded Fear account. Identify whether you want all saved progress or particular level records deleted. Your email address, sign-in record and account ID remain to keep the account usable unless you also request account deletion.
Data-only deletion is an email request, not an automatic in-app feature. Progress still saved on another device may sync back when that device signs in. Clear local progress on those devices as well if you want it removed everywhere.
Data covered by deletion
The scope depends on your request. Account deletion covers the account record and its saved game progress. A progress-only request covers the selected progress records, not your sign-in account.
- Account deletion: account email, internal user ID and associated authentication record, including the stored password hash.
- Saved progress: completed/unlocked level records, stars, best completion times and ghosts banished counts.
- Saved unlocks: case-file unlocks and boss-defeat records, including their timestamps.
Optional account deletion in the game
If you can sign in, open Profile, choose ‘Delete my account’ and confirm. The implemented action attempts to remove your saved progress and authentication account; after success, it clears local progress on that device and signs you out. If it fails, retry or use the email request above.
This action does not remove downloaded recordings, data on other devices, request emails or any provider backup copies. It is not a scheduled or automatic deletion policy.
Guest progress and recordings on your device
Guest progress and sound preferences are stored on your device, not in an account. To remove them on the website, clear site data for recordedfear.com in your browser settings. For the Android app, clear its app storage in your phone settings. This resets local progress and preferences.
Camera views, microphone recordings and optional location readings are processed on-device by the game; these streams are not uploaded by the game. Delete saved videos separately from your phone’s gallery, files or downloads. Copies you choose to share must be removed from the service or recipient that holds them.
Retention periods and data that may remain
Active account and saved progress records: kept while the account exists, to provide sign-in and progress syncing. No time-based expiry or inactive-account deletion schedule is implemented. A successful account deletion removes these records from the active account/progress stores; email requests require manual handling and have no verified fixed completion period.
Data-only requests: the account email, authentication record and user ID remain for as long as the account exists so you can still sign in. Progress outside the scope of your request remains until removed. Local progress and saved videos remain on each device until you clear or delete them; no automatic expiry is implemented.
Request correspondence: emails sent to the contact inbox may remain in that inbox as correspondence about verification and handling of your request. No fixed retention period or automatic deletion rule for these emails has been confirmed.
Provider backups and operational/security logs: copies or identifiers may remain subject to provider policies, for backup recovery and service security. The applicable retention periods and whether a particular request affects these copies have not been verified. We cannot promise immediate removal, a specific expiry date, or that nothing is retained. Ask in your request for the confirmed period and reason for any retained data.
No specific legal-retention requirement or additional retained-data category has been verified for this page. Any exception identified when handling your request should be explained to you with the data involved, reason and applicable retention period.
